Is Zep heavy duty citrus de-greaser effective at removing carpet adhesive from concrete? It can be. Hotter is faster - use what ever strength you like (again stronger is better) as hot as you can (Not Boiling). Let it soak and let it do its work at softening. It will soften the adhesives but mechanical removing will be required. Putty knife or other means to scrape it off. Elbow grease will still be required.
Hi to answer your question.....Yes this will remove soot off bricks. Use full strength and spray on bricks use a hand scrub brush to agitate the formula and remove with a damp warm rag and bucket of warm water....let dry. Use proper PPE such as chemical gloves and googles...ScottE.
Hi, John! Yes. Dilute 6 ounces per 32 ounces of water or use full strength. For unsealed concrete stains, scrub vigorously to get into pores. Rinse thoroughly with water and reapply as needed. I hope this helps! Should you have further questions, feel free to contact us at 1-888-805-4357.We appreciate your business and look forward to servicing you in the future. -Zep Inc.
Hi, AVENTURACARWASH! No, it is not advisable to use the Zep Heavy Duty Citrus Degreaser for extraction cleaning. The Zep Concentrated Premium Carpet Shampoo is recommended. Use the Zep Concentrated Premium Carpet Shampoo to deep clean, revive and restore worn and stained carpet and upholstery in two easy steps. Also, try the Zep High Traffic Carpet & Spot Cleaner to pretreat tough stains. The enzymes penetrate deep, lifting out dirt, stains and odor. For small traces of adhesive residue use isopropyl alcohol (91% or stronger 99% if you can get it now with high demand for alcohol with Covid 19 issue) however if there are larger remnants of adhesive lightly bathe adhesive area with a degreaser / adhesive remover of your choice. Let stand for 45 sec. – 1 min. giving the adhesive time to absorb the adhesive remover. Vinyl is a water proof petroleum product and will not be soften by a water based product. Mild citrus degreaser and isopropyl alcohol are used only to help remove any adhesive left behind. If the degreaser or isopropyl alcohol can get under the edge of the vinyl it might help loosen the edges to be able to get a start in pulling it off. Haven’t tried it but it should work well
I blame this on the Virus situation. Many retail operations are having inventory control issues matching their actual store contents to their web sites. Right now, we are going to have to live with this happening for awhile.
