For heavy soils, we recommend diluting 20 fl. oz. of product per gallon of water.

This product can be sprayed directly on the stain. It is a concentrate, so it needs to be diluted before use. Please see product label for proper usage instructions and dilution ratios. Always test in an inconspicuous area before use.

Typically, it would be too foamy for use in a spray cabinet. It could be used in a water-based parts washer or a vat, where there is little agitation. We would recommend wearing gloves when handling that product in that application. Also, be aware that too much contact with aluminum could cause damage.

We would recommend Zep Heavy Duty Citrus Degreaser instead. It is designed for commercial kitchen use while Zep Industrial Purple Degreaser is more suited for use on machinery. Please see the label for proper usage instruction and always test in an inconspicuous area before use.

If removing heavy soils on a vehicle, it is better to start with the low pH product as a presoak, then come behind that with the alkaline product, in this case, Zep Industrial Purple Degreaser. You could then use a neutral pH car wash to remove all of that, but it would most likely not be needed unless it has some kind of wax component that you want on the vehicle. MOST IMPORTANT: Do not wash a hot vehicle like this. Do not allow Industrial Purple to dry on the vehicle. It is best to either wash small areas or to wash quickly keeping everything wet until completely rinsed.

We can only recommend using the product as directed. If you choose to use it on a non-recommended surface, the safest way to do that would be to test first in an inconspicuous area and then to work in small sections. However, we cannot guarantee whether or not there would be damage.

It certainly could if the material holding them together is some kind of oil, or soils that can be broken down by a degreaser. Otherwise, you may need a solvent. In any case, coins should not be damaged by using this product, we recommend using well after use.
