I have not used this product for this purpose but because it's labeled a reducer, I would assume it could work. Be advised this trim should not be used for a high traffic area as it is a very thin finish over another substrate. If you have a high traffic area, I would get oak trim and stain it to match the laminate. I did that and it looks great. Home Depot has a large selection of trim.
The included screws are about a #6 and about 1 inch long. If you're installing directly on a concrete slab, you'll need to drill into the floor slats and into the concrete for these screws to actually fit. It might be recommended to replace these screws with shorter screws to avoid having to drill into your concrete slab. If not, the included screws will raise the flooring of the slab due to their length.
No, but you can build up the height with more of the under padding.
It depends on the areas that need transition. This is a board foot product, you buys as many as you need that covers the footage of the transition areas
Not to my knowledge. For longer areas, you may have to put several together. Be advised I wouldn't recommend this product for high traffic areas as it's a thin veneer over another substrate. You're better off getting oskbtrim and staining to match.
There's a T Molding that matches it. It cost about $22
There is a special piece made specifically for stairs, bullnose. Make sure and layout your pieces before permanently attaching as the measurements should be precise.
it comes with the track.
Yes. Any saw should do, though a chop saw or circular saw will be easiest.
