- Laminate moldings are extruded out of high-density fiberboard and wrapped with laminate decorative paper

AnswersHello, I didn't use screws to anchor the locking channel , I got a tube of silicone from them to fasttenthe channel to the concrete floor. I do not remember the name of the product I used, but if you ask at the flooring counter they can tell you witch one to use. I used it to fasten down 6 different strips and it was fast and easy, no drilling or dusty mess to clean up. I hope this helps. Dale

Answerssits on top but works very nicely. attaches to my basement stairs and I have not noticed it there as much as I did the metal one. no tripping so far and has been installed for almost three weeks
