The adjustable shower bar arrived in a large box with not much packing inside - it was flopping around inside, but undamaged. This was a replacement for an older shower bar in my shower stall. The bar had a sticker on it so you'd know which way to twist it to lengthen or shorten it. It went up nicely with my shower curtain on it. It seems very sturdy. I am pleased.

This shower rod does just what it claims. It is fairly easy to use. Just twist to unlock, bring bars close to desired length, and twist to lock into place and then a few more twists to tighten while both ends are against hard spaces. Looks nice with the nickel finish. The rubber ends seem to grip just fine. You can use these for Curtain holders for larger door openings like closets as well.

This rod is sturdy and easy to use. The finish is smooth and clean. It is easy to put up, just pull the ends to the desired size and twist one end to tighten it firmly against the wall. I like the clean look of the white finish. I've used other rods with a metallic looking finish and find that the metal sometimes gets discolored or oxidized looking. This has a nice, smooth, clean finish. Looks great!

I obtained the Zenna Home NeverRust 44 in. to 72 in. Aluminum Adjustable Tension Shower Rod for a shower that we recently had redone. I plan to redo the entire bathroom, but wanted a new shower rod for the new shower. I wanted a shower rod that would not require drilling in my new shower walls, but the Zenna Adjustable Tension Shower Rod did not work as I expected. The shower rod lacks any spring action and I was never able to get the rod tight enough to hold up on the smooth shower walls. I was able to find another shower rod with spring action that worked because the “spring action” allowed me to make the rod longer than necessary before putting it into place.
The outer tube measures 1 inch and the inner tube measures 7/8 inch". The end cap measures 1.5 inches.
I do not recommend the Zenna Home NeverRust Adjustable Tension Shower Rod for a shower without a ledge or lip that can be used to help hold the rod in place.

I acquired this to replace a sagging curtain rod in the kitchen, and it filled the bill perfectly. The directions followed the "picture is worth 1k words" principle, making sizing the rod quite straightforward. While I was concerned that the ends would not stay in place because they were quite smooth, they proved to be flexible enough to maintain a grip on an only slightly rough surface.
The result was an improvement over the old rod, and makes for easier movement of the curtains as well.

This shower rod is absolutely fantastic. It is easily adjustable. All you have to do is stretch it out, and twist both sides the opposite direction. It is made out of materials that will never rust. It is definitely strong enough to hold up any shower curtain. I even use mine as clothes hanger for a few items when needed. Both ends easilt pop off and can be re-installed by pushing them back on.

This expandable rod is list as a shower rod which would be perfect but may be utilized as a lightweight closet rod as well.
Sturdy aluminum that is coat and slides easily.
I received mine and it was a touch too long so I popped off the ends and a quick couple turns of a pipe cutter to each end and it fit perfectly.
The rubber stopped prevents any movement which is put in place after a half turn to the rod to create the desired tension.
