This product was not as advertised. It was said that it dries clear but it does not. It left a white haze in several areas. I tried to sand it down but I couldn’t. I just have to deal with a white haze on my ceiling.

That is not what we like to hear! It sounds like there may be some moisture trapped in the Rust-Oleum Zinsser Perma-Guard Interior Paint coating. We recommend trying to wipe the surface with denatured alcohol to draw out the moisture, which should hopefully clear things up. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5

Easy to apply I sprayed my attic after I remeadiated the slight mold issue. New roof increased venting and a new bath vent better air circulation so the condensation problem solved. Use Zinaser Perma guard for added protection

DO NOT USE ON WOOD
We ordered this because our wood walls are prone to mildew in the right conditions and we were tired of cleaning every October. It says you can use on wood, but DON'T. It does not dry clear, especially around knots in the wood. Now we have beams with big white splotches around the knots that look worse than the mildew did.

Yikes, that’s not what we like to hear! Zinsser Perma-Guard Mold and Mildew-Proof Interior Sealer is suitable for use on new or previously painted wood. When using over wood knots it is recommended to seal them with a suitable shellac. Worked as Advertised
The product worked as described, and it took two coats to seal the old wood panel in my basement. Some areas are still a little chalky, but I am hopeful they will continue to dry clear as did most of the panels. I painted one day and waited until the next day to apply a second coat.
