If a rat takes the bait, dies, and a dog finds him and eats him will dcon poison the dog as well?

Asked by: Ss
Yes. Have vitamin K and activated charcoal pill son hand if your dogs eats a poisoned animal. We had to go through that twice- it's not worth the life of your pet. Get the kill-traps instead or catch then kill them or release (but I don't think there are shortage of rodents in the world).

I SHOULD have read reviews on these before going through THREE bags over two months. I figured poison was poison. NO! Like the other 1-star reviews state, the mice THRIVE on these "poisonous" bait blocks. We have been seeing more and more bright green mice droppings all over the house, attic, and basement since putting these baits out. Yet, the mice NEVER die. In fact, I think now there are more of them, so they are thriving and this bait is a joke, not poisoning them, but keeping them fed. I will try the Tomcat baits based on the other reviewers listing success with those and the product having better reviews. Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this junk! I contacted d-CON for a refund since these are "Guaranteed to Kill". We'll see how long I hold my breath for that promise to be fulfilled.

LOL I usually use the pellets that come in the cardboard boxes and those worked great and I never saw a dead mouse.----It's been a day and some is already gone. If it is the same formula as what I bought in 2015 and 2016 then it should do the trick because I was infested before that because I was afraid to use it having a small child in the house---until they started playing with toys and I had enough! If they don't like the motel I will set the cubes elsewhere-------DIE MICE!!!!! I have faith in the formula maybe just not the motel----my goal is not to see a mouse at all---dead or alive!!! If i am wrong with this review than look for DJ Deadmaus to apologize and re-write----until then I would like to know why people expect to see a dead mouse and if they mouse proofed their food supply?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Month later, mice are still coming back to eat If you are looking for a pet mouse, then I highly recommend this product. I've been using the d-CON bait for a month now and absolutely no progress has been made. I used to use the pellets, which were very effective but can not find them in any stores here in Oregon. I've spent over $20 on d-CON bait and the mice keep coming back every day. The packaging says to monitor the bait stations for 15 days I think but what are you supposed to do after 30 days? Keep wasting money? I can hear the mice in our kitchen drawer eating throughout the day. I even tried putting 4 d-CON mouse traps surrounding a piece of bait but none of the traps were triggered. Try a different product, don't waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work...what a total waste of money. I wish I had read the reviews before buying these bait stations. What a total waste of money. d-con used to work flawlessly in a few days. It's been four weeks and the mice keep emptying the traps and coming back for more. The only improvement d-con made was to their profits. While waiting 15 days for the junk to work the mice keep emptying the bait station and you keep refilling it in the hope that it will work. Not!!!! Don't waste you money. It does not work...but...it is easy to fill so you can feed more mice.
