I hadn't considered contact paper for my counter tops, but the more I researched I realized that it would be an inexpensive way for me to cover my ugly counters. I had purchased a refinishing kit, (Giani), about five years ago, and instead of coming out black/white/gray, it came out black base coat/blue and white top coat. I was so disgusted, I went on line to chat with a rep from the company that made the kit. They could not recommend a fix, so I completed the job, and have been looking at it for all these years. I considered applying the Krylon natural stone finish paint, but it would have required several cans to complete the job, not to mention the prep work that I would have had to do to protect the rest of my kitchen. So I figured for about $50, it was worth it to try the contact paper. I finished applying the paper in about 2 hours and I could not be happier. There are some air bubbles that I've noticed in a few spots, but nothing a pin or razor blade won't take care of. I made a few errors, but thankfully they're covered up by things on my counter. Watch videos, either YouTube or Pinterest, I found them to be very helpful. Good luck.

This is a nice product. Overall it made my countertops look nice. I messed up the first roll I put on. I wasn't patient, went too fast and it wrinkled and stuck to itself. Definitely take your time.

Can’t tell it’s contact paper
Easy to place this paper, I did it on my own. I used a water based clear coat for durability and added some fine glitter flakes for a little sparkle. Previously my countertop was cream like the backsplash. I recommend watching a few YouTube tutorials.

The product was easy to apply and it looks great! My roll was crushed in the shipping box and there were creases all over the paper which ended up relaxing/becoming flat to the surface after a couple days. Small air bubbles also corrected themselves so I couldn’t be happier with this paper.

I love this! It completely changed the whole way my kitchen looks. I even used it on the window sills. I only wish that I could have gotten it in a wider roll. Trying to match up the design on the bar was a little bit of a pain.
