Use the IDEAL Noalox Anti-Oxidant Joint Compound to improve the conductivity of aluminum electrical connections. Anti-oxidant compound is a perfect safeguard for aluminum to aluminum, aluminum to copper wire connections and aluminum conduit joints. Improves efficiency and service life of aluminum electrical applications.
- Provides additional inner-strand and inner-conductor current paths for improved conductivity and cooler connections
- For use with pressure-type wire connectors including lugs, taps, service entrances and split-bolts
- Reduces galling and seizing when applied on aluminum conduit joints promoting good ground continuity

0.5 oz is enough for an eternity with my mech mods!
I use Noalox for the mechanical switches in my homemade mechanical mods; It keeps the current flow at a consistent and strong level. {These are Reo's style devices with a brass strip for the switch} I also but a dab of this where the battery negative directly grounds to the aluminum chassis. Nice! :-)

It has some drawbacks.
Noalox is so popular it's a generic term for oxide inhibiting electrical grease. It also creates some super headaches long term down the road in trouble shooting and maintaining a building's electrical system. Noalox will harden like a glue over time. I have been doing electrical work since 1983 and I hate the stuff. It's better than nothing but it turns into something like hardened epoxy after a few years. Think JB Weld. There are much better choices.

I never do a service or subpanel without having Noalox...
I never do a service or subpanel without having Noalox for the aluminum conductors. It's required by the NEC and you're asking for a lot of trouble if you don't use it.
