Product Overview

Boasting large white blooms contrasted by a dark pink spadix, 'White Heart' is a real beauty and a sure conversation piece. Flowers are long-lasting and its lush, heart-shaped foliage with dark stems make it an attractive indoor plant even when it's not in bloom. Anthurium plants look beautiful as table centerpieces or on a reception desk in an office and will provide many months of lasting enjoyment. Every part of the anthurium plant is toxic to humans and pets, so be sure to place it away from curious pets or children.

This anthurium is clearly very unhealthy. It has several large leaves completely browned and dead, and every other leaf has brown stains on the underside—a sign of a bacterial, fungal, or viral infection. Even the two white blooms it came with are brown-spotted. I’m a horticulturist by trade and understand that plants can be damaged in shipping, but this plant is diseased and it is a really shady business practice to try and get away with selling something that will obviously die soon. It’s hideous and 100% not worth the $30. Do not buy.

Response from National Plant Network TeamMar 22, 2021
Hello DoNotBuy - Thank you for leaving a review. Feedback like yours helps us refine and improve our processes. We are sorry to hear that the plant may have a viral infection. When we package plants, we do our very best and take pride in not sending out diseased or poor quality product. We have experienced diseases/molding/quality issues when some plants are in boxes too long (stuck in transit). This may be the case here, but hard to say without photos. If you have pictures of what you received, we would appreciate seeing those (info@nationalplantnework.com). Please reach out to the Home Depot for refund. Again, we appreciate your feedback and hope to see you as a customer in the future. Best - National Plant Network
