The rug was goodk the pad a disaster
I bought the rug and pad less than a year ago. The rug i'm keeping we have been happy with it..but there was a huge problem. The "premium" pad latex bonded with my woood floors and i had to do some severe cleaning with solvents and scrubbing pads to get it off the floor. There was damage done. Don't buy the rug pad.

Permanently Damaged Hardwood Floors, No Recourse
This rug pad permanently damaged the finish of my hardwood floors, by leaving an irremovable grid of discolored spots in the pattern of the flowers on the back of the rug pad. Because it takes longer than the 30day return period for the damage to show up, you have no recourse as the buyer to get a refund or reimbursement for the many thousands of $$ it takes to refinish your floors. I am very angry that I trusted this product to behave as advertised, and now must refinish my hardwood. Other brands of rug pad elsewhere in my house have not had this issue.
