A:  JPG54, Thank you for your interest in the Blue Ribbon OSB. It should not bow or warp.

A:  Yes it will. Even when used indoors as wall board.

A:  We used it for our roof. So far did not warp.

A:  Subfloor only, itis not rated for use as a final finished floor. Mike

A:  Adam, 1/2" OSB rated sheathing can be used as an underlayment over a subfloor on the interior of a home.

A:  JLWWhite, They will generally cut board for customers. I would contact your local store to confirm.

A:  Nathan, You can use 1/2 sheathing over 19/32" or 23/32" planks, as the planks are the actual subfloor.

A:  Alan, If you install 1/2" sheathing over a subfloor as an underlayment, then 250 lbs. lift and 268 lbs. man 16 oc are supported. We do not recommend using this products as a subfloor.

A:  Joseph, The average weight among our plants 1/2" OSB is 57 lbs.

A:  I would say yes.  However, I don’t live in an area affected by hurricanes.   

A:  Mandi7, You may use OSB to cover your windows.

A:  Nick, We do not recommend using 1/2" OSB as the subfloor in your attic. You may use it as the underlayment.

A:  Fred, We recommend installing the OSB perpendicular across the rafters.
