A: I am not a wood expert but I wouldnt. Teak wood or even a good redwood would be superior. I have treated mine in the kitchen but I wouldnt personally use it in a bathroom that gets regular steam. My contractor told me the same thign when I asked about putting it in my bathroom.

Answer This Question
A: This is simple math. 12 x .5 because 6" is half a foot = 6 sq ft so divide your total sq. ft. by the per board sq. footage or 160/6 = 26.7 boards. unless one wall is a perfect 12' by a few extra 20%. Maybe 32 boards. H.D. is always good about being able to return unused materials.
