A:  I was careful when screwing it in, but I’m sure with some bronze spray paint you can get a brush and paint the screw over

A:  The paint did not peel off and I had to take them off to paint again.

A:  The paint wasn't scratched when I installed it over a year ago. It still looks good. Cleans up well.

A:  I think I would replace the screws with new ones,much cheaper

A:  The screws are only needed to hold up the plate. It is not heavy so there is no need to torque the screws down tightly. Make them snug and then another 15 degrees. Remember the plate just hangs there only tighten your snug. If you need to replace a screw there are some replacements on the specialty screw wall.
