A:  Thank you for your interest in our product. 1- What is the size of the mounting base and dimensions/pattern of screw holes?-The Mounting base size is 2 3/8inch x 2 7/8 inch, screws are 6 5/8 or 6 3/4 based on the thickness of the panel. 2- What is the material that touches the floor? -The plastic touches the floor. 3- Would it be soft enough for use on wood a floor?- Since it is a purpose to provide height it is ok to use it on the wood floor.
