A:  It will clean your washer but will not remove rust stains. It does remove any detergent or other films including rust film but not the rust stain. Other stains it will remove.

A:  Don't know. My dishwasher is stainless steel and I've not had an issue with rust. It does, however, clean up the hard water deposits and keeps the racks moving smoothly in/out of the tub.

A:  My dishwasher is stainless steel inside, so I've never seen any rust at all in there. But it could just be that the affresh keeps it from getting on there, because I use it once a month faithfully.

A:  I do not have a rust problem. I purchased for calcium and hard water issues.
