A:Â Hello Dance, thank you for your inquiry. Ballet barres are often round pieces of material that are 1-1/2" to 2" in diameter. Please be aware that this item does have a flat bottom and may not fit into standard ballet barre brackets. We hope this information helps in the planning of your current project. Thank you.

A: I looked at a picture of a ballet barre on line, and I don’t see why not. The rail is strong and looks like about the same diameter as a ballet barre.

A:Â Yes, I am sure you can. We used ours for our stairs.

A:Â Yes, you will need to mount the rail to the wall with long brackets onto the wall studs.

A:Â CALL THE STORE for that information or select that store on the website and it will say whether that store has any in stock or needs to be special ordered.

A:Â If not, you can order it online. Probably a safer bet with all this Covid Chinese Flu nonsense going on.

A:Â I would suggest checking Home Depot website.

A:Â I have not found that length when I needed it.
It is possible to get longer lengths by joining a 96" with a 48" length.
A dowel kit is available to do this. A 5/16" center hole is marked and drilled out for a glued-in dowel(s) which join the 2 lengths again by gluing. 2 or more dowels might be needed for support.
