A: Take it back or dump it!
I sure hope this does not happen to me. My bottom bowl arrived somewhat wharped and it is hard to level the fountain...I do think it is a bit overpriced.

Q:Is it possible to buy only the 3-tier fountain? Just purchased the bird bath from a store that was sold as just the bath. Then later see an ad for the 3-tier fountain and that's what I'd like to buy now to complete my bird bath. No need for another bird bath. If so, how much would it cost me? I live in Nebraska. Live closest to Grand Island, NE if that's where I could do a pick up.
Thank you for your help.

Answer This Question
A: As far as I can find out, no. The basin for the bath with the fountain is different from the simple birdbath, it has a molded base where the fountain is attached. So, it wouldn't work anyway.

A: No, you only use 1 gallon of distilled water and the bottom bowl is sufficient to hold that much water.

A: It does splatter some. Part of the reason is that it is nearly impossible to get it level. Where the basin screws onto the pedestal is wonky so you have to place items under the bottom to try to level. You can adjust the water level so it is not so forceful.

Q:How difficult is it to replace the pump when it goes south?
by|Jun 14, 2020

Answer This Question
A: I would say very difficult because the power cord goes down the inside of the pedestal. You would have to dismantle the fountain, cut the sealing compound out, remove the cord and pump, run the new cord down the pedestal and re-seal it.

Q:I notice the instructions include a caution "Do not operate with water above 90°F ". What is the reason for this? Does this mean it cannot be used during most of the summer here in Mississippi?

Answer This Question
A: If the water gets too warm, the pump will cavitate and the bubbles will stop the water flow. Flowing water does tend to be cooler than the air. We've had a couple days over 100F, but our fountain is in the shade. We had to add water every day though.

A: I have been using this beautiful fountain in all summer time in Detroit in the last 3 years, nothing happened. But I think they said that due to the high temp may evaporate the water then hurt the pump. Just pay attention to the level of the water 2 times a day when it is 90 F or more. Good Luck and have a Great Summer Season. Enjoy it
