A: You have to cut off the tip of the caulk low enough. There is a circle on the side of the caulk gun that you use to actually cut off the tip with. Put the tip in the circle and squeeze the handle to cut it off and then load the caulk into the gun. Just piercing isn’t enough.

A: Really high? Take it apart and measure it. I don't think they've published that info but it will bust a wet paper tube.

A: Dear Valued HomeDepot Customer,
We reached out to the MFG for more information and below is their response.
"1. Release the trigger
2. Holding the caulk gun by the back handle only, push spring loaded silver button underneath the rod
3. Pull out the rod by the hook on the end
4. Insert the tube of caulk
5. Remove the same way"

A: Use the trigger release below the traction lever and pull the traction back so the cartridge pusher can be pulled back to allow the caulking cartridge can be inserted. it may be easier to make the 45 degree cut in the caulking cartridge before putting into the calking gun.

A: You pull the lever on the back all the way back while pushing the metal thumb-lever behind the handle, I sent caulk to fit in the gun and the push the lever back forward while again holding the thumb lever (or swueeze the trigger a bunch until it tightens and pushes the caulk )
