Q:Does the Aqualife Oceania hot tub require 240V or 240/120V (does it require a neutral (white) conductor in addition to 2 hot conductors and a ground conductor)?

A:  This is a 240v unit and requires two hots(red and black), a neutral(white), and a ground(green.) There are more details in our owner's manual.

    Q:Can this spa be recessed completely inground? Would it void the warranty? A concrete base would be poured and the sides filled in with sand or pea gravel, except for the area surrounding the access door.

    A:  No, this would not void the warranty; however, our manual states "If you are installing your spa near a wall or with any type of structure on the outside, such as a gazebo, remember to allow a minimum of 18” access for service." Failure to do so would mean you would be required to remove the unit from its location to allow access to all sides should warranty work be required in the future. We would not cover or reimburse the costs required to do so.

            A:  Maximum Temperature is set at 104ºF/40ºC as required by UL/CSA. Minimum temperature is 80ºF/26ºC. There's more to the temperature settings, but we believe that's what you're asking.                 A:  The access door is just behind the steps shown in the top down picture. The door does hinge open, so it is recommended that you have a means of opening if need be. As for the remaining exterior, no access is needed at all.
