Q:When reading the other questions I see the question of supply height is avoided, and the information is not published in the install brochure. What height is the input line into the tank? How far off the back wall?

Thank you for your interest in Aquasana. The height of the EQ-600 and Salt-Free Conditioner is 46". A: Hello Verney,
Thank you for your interest in Aquasana. The Whole Home EQ-600 is NSF tested and certified to remove 96.9% of chlorine. The UV add-on will help by sterilizing 99% of viruses, bacteria like E.coli, and chlorine-resistant cysts like Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
Unfortunately, our Whole Home Systems do not reduce fluoride in the water.

A: Yes, I have had the system for approximately 2yrs. I see about a 10 psi drop post filter.
by|Apr 13, 2021
A: Yes it does a little bit. You MUST change the small filter (Pre Filter) often (Every 3 to 4 months) to avoid pressure loss. By replacing the filters helps to maintain water pressure. I buy the filters directly from Aquasana. I recommend installing with a bypass loop for EASY filter replacement and also the water doesn't have to be shut off in the entire house while replacing filter.
