Answer This Question
A: It is required that you contact the local post office before installing your post mount mailbox to ensure its correct placement and height at the street. Generally, mailboxes are installed at a height of 41-45 inches from the road surface to either the inside surface of the mailbox that the mail is placed on by the carrier or to the lowest edge of mail entry (for locked mail slot designs) and are set back 6-8 inches from the front face of the curb or road edge to the mailbox door.

Answer This Question
A: Hello - You should be able to.
by|Jul 1, 2021
A: Hi, Junebugs, I guess you could use it as a birdfeeder stand, although it is not that tall and would be best used in an area that has bushes or tree limbs for the birds to hide in before landing on the birdfeeder. You would have to drill holes in the feeder and metal plate to make the feeder sturdy. Give it a try. richard
