A:  If you have a common paper cutter, big hinged blade on the side of a table top platform, they work well to cleanly cut a perfect strait line. You can get one for like 29.95

        Answer This Question

A:  I would say yes, they can be removed without damaging the painted floor. There may be some cleanup of the transfer adhesive left behind. Recommend using plastic scrapers if wanting to protect the finish underneath.

A:  We had to remove a few of the tiles and we used a hair dryer to do it. They did leave a sticky residue that we ended up using the hand cleaner Goop to remove. Hope that helps.

            Answer This Question

A:  I bought both the white and black gloss tiles. They have the same texture and level of shine. Used in Diamond pattern in kitchen.  Ended up looking really good.

            by|Mar 13, 2022

A:  They will have a similar level of gloss to them to match.

              by|Mar 10, 2022

A:  The tiles are an exact match except for color. I laid a black and white checkerboard floor and it looks fantastic!

                          Answer This Question

A:  I would not; it is just peel and stick vinyl and I would expect it to peel off with heavy water exposure. The glue does not seem strong enough to hold up.

                          by|Mar 3, 2022

A:  No. Peel and stick will not survive a humid environment (wall) or immersion in water (shower pan) . You need grouted tiles.

A:  Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. I apologize for the inconvenience; however, this product is not recommended for use on shower walls. The adhesive does not have the necessary properties to withstand the constant exposure to water that a shower would provide. I hope this information is helpful. Have a great day.

A:  I don't think I would use this flooring for a garage - I'm not sure it would hold up to a vehicle driving over it. It may work if you use your garage as a workshop, etc.

A:  Well you can, but it's better to pull the old ones up..they won't stay if put over an old tile..I'll give you a tip on how to pull the old tiles up, use a heat gun, warm up the tile and they peel off, but just know they leave a sticky residue on the floor, when removed like that..but super easy..

A:  Yes, you can put this over existing tile or vinyl, as long as you have the right sealant and that you really make sure the existing floor is clean and free of debris. Even though the backing of the tile is pretty sticky, if there is dust, moisture, or other debris gets on the sticky portion, it will not stick and stay as well. Make sure your sealant is tacked enough and you might want to cover the floor with the sealant and let it sit for 5 minutes or so before placing the tile to allow for the sealant to dry a little and increase the tack or “stick” of it. It worked much better for me this way when I did my project and it is still sticking well, even with high traffic. Good luck.

A:  I wouldn't recommend it.  You’d have to cover the tile with something to fill in the grout lines that would also give the tile a good base to adhere to.  Your best bet would be the interlocking vinyl laminate, but that's not a DIY project in such a small space.

A:  The peel and stick can go over vinyl layer fully adhered vinyl flooring.

A:  I did this. It looks a LOT better than it did. So... that's a good thing! However, you can see impressions of the original tile through this tile in certain lighting. Also, I'm worried it won't wear as well. It's more susceptible to bending and cracking.

A:  The adhesive on the back is kind of sand color, and very sticky, you can tell by using your finger, if you can't feel the adhesion, make sure you ordered the one that has adhesive, if so, it has quality issue...

A:  Did you peel the paper off? Try pressing it against the floor- if it doesn’t stick you have a defective batch

A:  Sounds like a batch that slipped through without getting any glue. There should be a sheet of wax paper on the backside of every tile separating them from each other so they won't stick together. If there wasn't any then for sure they didn't get any glue. If there was and they don't stick it may be an old batch whose glue dissipated with time. One more thing. I've put down lots of these over the years and I've found that if I apply some contact cement, or other laminate glue on the surface, whether it be wood or cement it will not peel up over time. I know it defeats the point of easy application of peel & stick, but I never have been disappointed with the result.

A:  I’ve had trouble with the last two types of tiles ordered from HD. The planks and the 12x 12. I also tried two different types of glue to help, a paste type, and the tile floor tape. but they still  manage to lift. The tape helped somewhat, but it will have to all come up and be replaced sooner than later.

A:  I did find that some were not as sticky as others. You do need to make sure the area in which is clean and dry prior to sticking them on.
