You can choose a custom built, double threshold fiberglass reinforced tile ready or custom base with at least a 2-1/2 in. wide flat threshold on both sides. You can also install this onto a tile curb (with the same minimum threshold width) or directly to your bathroom's flooring for a zero threshold style. Do not use any existing shower base, or prefabricated third party brand base recommended by this site. Base and the surround bathroom aesthetics are not included nor available. The glass attaches with the stainless steel hardware clamps and hinge hardware - which are included. Clear silicone application is used to finish the process.
