Q:What is a properly prepared surface
by|Jul 4, 2024

Answer This Question
A: Hi Dennis, thank you for your question. Properly prepared surfaces should be free of loose paint, chalk, dirt, grease, mildew, etc. Cracks and gaps should be patched and allowed to cure. The surface should also be rinsed and dry. Glossy surfaces should be scuff sanded to promote adhesion. We also recommend priming any chalky surfaces that were not washed off, and patched surfaces with the Multi-Surface Primer and Sealer No. 436. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna
