A: Hi Mike, thank you for your question. As it turns out, we do not recommend using our Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint for concrete surfaces that will be walked or driven on. Alternatively, I recommend checking out our Solid Color Concrete Stain. It provides an opaque finish that is protective and durable. This stain is a great option for driveways. Q:It is critical that the paint be breathable for Masonry (Brick) application. In looking at the specks, it does not say breathable. Acrylic is not usually breathable. Sealing the brick from water evaporation will contribute to spalling & other Problems

However, if after cleaning the surface remains chalky, then we recommend priming with the Multi-Surface Primer and Sealer No. 436. You'll also want to prime patched areas.
