A:  Hi val2639, thank you for your question. The Marquee Exterior Satin Paint can be applied to exterior vinyl surfaces (not including floors). If the surface is smooth or glossy, scuff sanding and cleaning is recommended before painting. Also, it's important to choose a paint color that is similar to or lighter than the vinyl's original color, as darker colors can absorb more heat, resulting in warping of the vinyl. A:  Hi Tony, thanks for your question. I'm sorry to hear about the flashing on the exterior of your house. This can happen when the surface absorbs the paint unevenly. To fix this, you can try applying another coat or prime with our Multi-Surface Primer and reapply the paint following the spread rate. A:  Hi there, thank you for your question. As plastic can make it tough for coatings to adhere, we recommend priming the surface with our Bonding Primer (No. 432). Once primed, you can topcoat the surface with our Marquee Paint. Please note that we do not recommend our products for plastics that are soft or move around a lot.
