Q:Can I use it on fireplace surround ?

A:  Hi PjaB, thank you for your question. Yes, our Marquee Paint can be used around the fireplace as long as the surface doesn't get too hot to touch. If the surface gets too hot, then it should not be painted with this paint as it will not hold up. Have a great day! -Giovanna

        A:  Hi there, thank you for your question. As it turns out, we do not recommend using thinners with our products. However, you can add up to 8 oz. of water per gallon to our Marquee Paint if needed to extend the working time or per the recommendation of a sprayer manufacturer. Have a great day! -Lina

          Q:Is this good for bathroom walls, repelling mildew? We plan on painting the walls a very light satin grey. Should we paint the ceiling the same color grey or paint the ceiling with a ceiling paint.

          A:  Hi mick, thank you for your question. Marquee Paint can be used in bathrooms. For the best moisture and mildew resistance, use a high sheen such as satin or semi-gloss. Our Marquee Paint is guaranteed to cover in one coat when tinted to a one coat color and applied over a previously painted or primed surface. As it turns out, September Sun QE-19 is not a guaranteed color. You can find the guaranteed colors online, or at your local store by picking up a brochure or color card from the Marquee section.
