Answer This Question
A: Hi Zizi, thank you for your question. Our Solid Waterproofing Wood Stain is a final coat and does not require a clear topcoat. However, you can use a water-based polyurethane or varnish suitable for decks and over a water-based stain. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

A: A Behr associate recently replied this: This Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain & Sealer is water-based. Have a great day! -Lina It does not cover the solid stain. Water based stains don't work well where I live, so I guess I will pass.

A: Hi Malc, thank you for your question. The 8 oz. samples can be tinted to various colors. If you ordered online, the sample will have a colorant sticker with the color name. If you purchased at your local store, the paint desk will tint it for you and also place a colorant sticker on the jar or lid. Have a great day! -Giovanna

Answer This Question
A: Hi Jeff, thank you for reaching out. I'm so sorry to hear that the Semi-Transparent Stain & Sealer is still tacky, and after a month too! That is not the experience we want for our customers. The tackiness will go away on its own with time and weathering. However, you can speed up that process by cleaning the surface with soap and water. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you need further assistance. -Lina
