A:  Hi JHTurano, thanks for your question. A separate primer is not required with our Ultra Scuff Defense, as this paint is self-priming. The first coat of this product will act as a primer and additional coats will provide full coverage. You might need more than one coat, but I can recommend applying the paint in columns and reloading your 3/8in nap roller after each column to help you get the best coverage.
