Q:Dimensions in the installation instructions don?t add up. The vinyl posts measure 96?. 12? is buried below grade leaving 84? above grade. 10? bottom rail + 50? panel leaves 24? to top, not 14?.

A: I used the 4 X 4 post holders to attach to the deck. I slid the plastic uprights over treated 4 X 4's. Then I used long srews to attach to the side of my home.
