        Q:YOUR QUESTION I'll ask a different way. I'm interested in a SINK, not faucet. I already have a faucet that measures 4" from center of one faucet handle to the other. In the middle is a pipe where water comes out. I do not want another faucet. I want a sink that the faucet I already have will fit. I don't want a faucet. THE ANSWER Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. Yes; you want to order the correct type of faucet. An 8"-on-center faucet means the measurement from the center of the hot handle to the center of the cold handle is 8". Since your handles measure 4" from center-hot to center-cold, you have a centerset faucet drilling which requires a centerset faucet. Often you can also install a single hole faucet if an escutcheon (base plate) is included which will cover the handle hole drillings. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

        A:  Hi, the sink top that you inquiring about has 3 holes for 8" center faucet. That means from the center fo the left handle to the right handle is 8" apart. If you have a 4" center faucet, it will not work for this sink top. Hope this helsp!

          Q:Bellaterra Home Serik 24 in. Drop-In Ceramic Bathroom Sink in White I want this sink but your info isn't clear. I'm not a plumber and I could take a guess what the lacking information is for the faucet holes. My current faucet has a right & left handle and a faucet in the middle. Looks like the left measures zero on the center and the right handle is 4" on its center. The faucet where the water comes out looks like it's smack in the middle. So, my question is: Will this sink work with the faucet as described??

          A:  This sink will work with any 3-piece faucet. Measurements were never even considered with my purchase. As long as yours has 3 separate pieces as you described, it will definitely work. I believe a 3-pc. faucet is referred to as wide spread. Meaning each piece is separated. Where as there are 3-pc look faucets, that have a deck plate, but are basically all together, with no spacing. A standard 3-pc faucet set does NOT have a deck plate.

            Q:On the photo, it seem to be for a 4 in. faucet and the details says the spacing is 8 in. Is the photo or the details who is in error?

            A:  The 8" spacing in the advertisement is correct. The holes are for what they call a widespread, 8" spacing,or 8" center faucet setup.

              A:  Hi, the sink top is for 8" spacing and the picture does showed very close to each other and we are in the process of changing out that picture. Again, it is a 8" center spacing counter top. Thanks.
