A: This does include a case.
A: yes
A: Thank you for your question. Yes, the GRL240HVCK comes with a case.
A: Thank you for your question. The GRL245 is a rotary laser, works up to 800 ft. when used with laser receiver. The GLL2-80 is a line laser and works up to 65 ft.
A: Thank you for your question. The GRL240 measures up to 800 ft. with accuracy up to +/- 1/4 inch at 100 feet. The GRL250 measures up to 1,000 ft. with +/- 1/8 inch at 100 ft. accuracy.
A: Thank you for your question. The part number for the remote control is 1617S00W3M and can be ordered direct from our Bosch Factory Service Center at 1-800-346-4103.
A: Thank you for your question. Yes, the GRL240HVCK will work for grades and comes with a grade rod. We also offer the GRL500HCK with fully automatic digital dial-in grade.
A: There is no setting on this to set a grade. I would measure the distance of the drain tile to be placed not exceeding the 800' that this unit will work. Figure your grade that you want and then dig that hole to the depth you need using the leveler. Then as you trench measure every so often to see if you are staying at the correct grade. Example every 10' you want a 1' drop so you could measure every 5' and check for a 6" drop.
A: Yes in the Line Operation it will self level vertically. I tested it and put a piece of wood under one side and powered it on. It leveled it. Then I removed the wood and it self leveled again.
A: I don't think it works that way
A: Horizontal
A: I can only imagine that Bosch can help with this question being that they are a multinational company based in Geringen, Germany. Many European countries use 220 and I am sure Bosch has a solution for you. I suggest you contact Bosch Global's awesome customer service and I am sure they will be glad to help you with this awesome product.
A: takes batteries d's and 9v
A: There is no charger connection or does it come with a chager with this model.
A: Thank you for your question. The Bosch GRL245 is run by two Alkaline D batteries. This model does not have a rechargeable battery and charger.
A: Yes. That's a correct calculation
A: Correct.
A: The 1/4" accuracy is measured at 100 feet for each measurement. So assuming max error for the reference and site measurements both measured at 100 feet, accuracy would be 1/2" in 200 feet. The receiver also has an accuracy and probably won't measure much more accurately than that. Unless you're performing a leveling loop with corrections (surveyor or engineers should know how to do this) then the accuracy would be cumulative. FYI, this is still great accuracy for many situations, not precision work though. Fine for wood framed foundations though.
A: For closer accuracy, you can run multiple levels. For example, if you run eight-100' levels instead of a single 800' level, your accuracy tightens up a great deal. This is a fairly basic surveying concept.
A: Thank you for your question. Yes, the accuracy at 800' would be +/- 2".
A: It's supposed to be accurate to plus or minus a quarter inch over 100' with an 800' range. I can't see the laser at 5' outside on a cloudy day. I can't imagine trying to use it at 800'.
A: Don't know if you want maximum extended height or minimum height. Here is both. With the legs extended all the way and together it measures to the top of the base without the leveler on it - 60" Minimum height with the legs all the way in and spread out as far as they will go it is - 11"
A: Each leg telescopes to 59". Tripod height is 60-1/2" with a stable 10" leg spread (equidistant on flat surface). Beyond that, it's a geometry calculation. Tripod fully collapses to 29-1/2" with attached Velcro wrap-band. Tripod works smoothly with two easy-fasten clips on each leg.
A: Thank you for your question. The Bosch GRL240HVCK comes with the BT152 tripod. The height closed is 30" and the maximum extended height is 60". The height adjustment range is 30 total inches from 30" to 60".
