Home Depot only has us manufacture the hardwood for them so we do not manufacture any transition strips for this floor. The Plano Collection is part of Bruce’s Common Grade category which features a greater amount of visual character such as wider color and grain variation, mineral streaks, knots and small holes. These types of variations are allowed in this floor to help keep it as a more cost friendly floor. It comes with a 15 year limited residential finish warranty. I have had it in my kitchen for 20 years and except for normal wear and tear it still looks amazing.

It is solid hardwood so it is more susceptible to damage from water and high humidity. You would want to be sure to keep mats in areas where higher moisture is likely and would want to be sure to clean up any spills quickly so as to prevent potential damage. Hi There, We do no have a set timeline for acclimation of solid hardwood products. Acclimation time depends on the relationship between the moisture content of the subfloor and the planks you are installing. The passage below can be found in our installation guide... "Solid hardwood flooring should be stored in the environment in which it is expected to perform. Deliver the materials to an environmentally controlled site. The wood subflooring materials must not exceed 12% moisture content. Using a reliable wood moisture meter, measure and document the moisture content of both the subfloor and the hardwood flooring, to determine proper moisture content. The difference between the moisture content of the wood subfloor and the wood flooring must not exceed 3% (2% for plank). Check the moisture content of multiple boards. Hi There, I can confirm that our Natural Maple products are indeed Prefinished anything produced as unfinished hardwood would be marked as such. Hi There, While our company is not able to go over material estimates for product I can tell you that this particular product contains 20sq' per carton. Estimating material usually involves taking the over square footage of the project adding about 5-10% for waste and grading allowances and dividing the total by the sq' per carton.
