A:  Hi, Yes, these are intended for cabinets and yes, you can use those applications with this plywood. Thanks.

A:  Hi, Yes it will hold stain. You should sand lightly with 220 grit or higher abrasion to remove any raised grain. We finish sand the panel to 180-220 grit.

A:  Hi I would not recommend the item for use as a cutting board. Intended application is for cabinets, built-ins, etc. Thank you for the interest in our product.
