Q:Is a 2800 sq ft pellet stove too big for an 1800 to 2000 sq ft home? The stove will be located in my basement. Just wondering if an over sized unit in a smaller home is recommended or not. Trying to decide between HP22 or HP21. Thank you.

A:  The 22 would be a better choice as the hopper is larger, the heat output would be more but you still have the 5 heat levels as well as the built in thermostat. You could go with the 21 with the hopper extension that holds an extra 30lbs but the 22 is our flagship and an excellent choice for a basement.

    Q:Can this stove be programmed to turn on then off at specific times? Say on at 6am off at 10am. specifications say it can be set to a temperature but curious about my question above

    A:  Yes. The unit has built in weekly programming that allows for time quadrants per each of the 7 days.

      A:  Yes it can be hooked to a wall thermostat. The built in thermostat has a range of 61 to 82 degrees. But yes you can run it to a conventional thermostat.

        A:  A real thick 1/4 inch high bead of hi-temp silicone caulking and let set for 6 hours.

            Q:installed my comfortbilt pellet stove only to realize the firepot is missing. THIS REALLY SUCKS! also received it gouged on the front. NOT HAPPY AS I CAN'T BURN AS OF NOW.
