A:  No, you can not.

A:  We do not offer any big log sets for the stoves. We have tried them in the past and they interfered with the way the parents were dropping into the burnt pot. They were splashing out into the ash pan so we've decided not to pursue that.

A:  Burn pot usually last around three or four years. After the first year or two you may see a small crack on a cast iron pot. But usually three or four years before they're not usable.

A:  A very long time, its made out of heavy cast iron. You do have to clean out the airholes in the burn pot but I am sure the burn pot will last the life of the stove.

A:  Yes, this pellet stove can be connected to a masonry chimney. It requires it's own setup which can be found online.

A:  The gas piping vent sections cannot be used with a pellet stove. You must install pellet stove piping in the place of the gas piping. But yes you can go right through the wall with the exhaust piping. The exhaust on the stove is 16 inches off the floor to the center.

A:  Yes you can bypass the 30 minute delay. So please switch the main power supply on the back of the stove by the power cord off and back on. Then re-start the stove

A:  You can however you have to shut off the main power and turn it back on.... which is not recommended in the owners manual.

A:  If you press and hold the "Lock" looking button on the left side of the control panel for 3-5 seconds, it will bypass the 30 min lockout. Also, if the proof of fire switch detects a high enough temp, it will go directly back into "Heating" mode, skipping the ignite sequence.

A:  The dimensions of this pellet stove are 24 inches wide by 36 inches high by 27 inches deep.

A:  The exhaust is 16" off of the floor.

A:  Yes, it is exactly 12 inches to center.

A:  On this HP21 model, it is about 17" from floor to center of exhaust pipe. The previously mentioned 12" is the measurement for the HP22 series.

A:  Also note, that when using an inverter, ensure that it is a pure sine wave.

A:  In case of a power outage, there are two choices. One is a gasoline powered generator with an extension cord. The other is a car battery with a power inverter. If you do the power inverter it must be 1000 W or greater.

A:  No, you need electricity to run the blower, exhaust and intake fans.

A:  Yes. You want to clean the stove once a week and it should be cooled when doing so

A:  Yes, you must wait until it has cooled down because in the firebox and ash pan and burn pot become very hot when in operation.

A:  This model has a firepot that you remove for cleaning.

A:  Yes, it has a burn pot in the bottom that you need to clean out. On the HP21 the ash pan is very small ( Not recommended ) if you buy a pellet stove, make sure to by an ash vacuums. It will save you a lot of time and keep your stove in tip top shape. Well worth the money for an ash vacummn
