A:  Nancy, it seemed to kill the black mold on my crawl space joists, but did not completely remove the stains, at least not over a couple of days. The stains reduced in size and darkness, but did not disappear. I would call it a stain reducer vice stain remover in my case. After the concrobium dried, I followed with a stain remover (not duo blast) and the wood looks new. I'm not sure if the duo blast would have removed the stain if given more time. I also sprayed the duo blast on some moldy sheetrock and did not notice any change. The product did not seem to help with the mold on my sheetrock.

The effective way to eliminate mold and remove the stains would be to first apply Mold Control in a thin even layer over the affected surface, allow to dry completely. Mold control works as it dries by crushing mold spores at the roots. Once completely dry the mold will be eliminated, even if mold stains remain. Next use Concrobium Duo Blast Mold & Mildew Deep Stain Remover on the mold stains, following the application directions of on the back of the bottle. Once and stains have been removed apply Mold Control again on those areas, allowing to air dry. A:  It does not come with a mixing sprayer, you will need to get one. Most any pump sprayer works fine, though it will spray some foam vice a consistent mist. When the duo blast solutions are mixed there is a chemical reaction and the mixture foams. This will result in pressure buildup in the pump sprayer, which is not a bad thing because it takes less pumping to apply the solution.

Allow Duo Blast to remain on the surface for a minimum of 2 hours, it may take up to 24 hours to see full results. No rinsing is required. Duo Blast is a deep stain remover, it does not eliminate mold. For mold elimination use Concrobium Mold Control, this product crushes mold at its roots as it dries. The best process is to apply Mold Control on the affected surface, allow to dry completely. When try apply Duo Blast to any mold stains (after using Mold Control the mold has been eliminated in the stains). After the stains have been removed reapply Mold Control.
