A: Yes you could cut it shorter. All you would need to do is drill a new hole for the mounting bolt. I would recommend cutting off both ends an equal amount and drill 2 new holes.

by|May 5, 2023
A: Yes , they swivel.
by|May 5, 2023
A: They don't "swivel" per se once they're in the wood part, but you can easily take them in and out and place them facing another direction.
by|May 5, 2023
A: The two end hooks do but not the middle ones. They do slide along the wood for easy access to the pots and pans though.

Answer This Question
A: No, I didn’t use the chain but two stainless steel ceiling hooks. I have a low wall in front of a kitchen bay window.
by|May 5, 2023
A: It depends on how long your chain is. Also, you can reduce swinging by offsetting the anchor wider than the attachment points, thus angling the chains. I believe that my chains are about 6" long to the ceiling. I do not have a problem with swinging. I will add a photo later if I remember.

A: I hung ours a few days ago & it doesn't swing a lot. We are really happy with it.
by|May 5, 2023
A: We have 8 foot ceilings so we doubled the chain to make it one foot, so no swinging. Not sure about how it would be full length, but the weight of our pans keep it steady also.
by|May 6, 2023
A: The pot rack does not swing if installed correctly.

Answer This Question
A: Seems more than adequate for the 4 pans we are currently using it for. Weight seems to be more limited by what you can screw the chain hooks into as opposed to the rack itself.
