Questions and Answers for DEWALT 20V MAX XR Cordless Brushless Jigsaw (Tool Only)

A:  No free tools that I’m aware of. At least none were offered with my purchase.

A:  Free tools are on attached photo. They?re available in the store only.

A:  The ad is deceiving.. I just called customer service and the "3" free tools are the tools pictured. One would assume that if you purchased this item you would have the ability to select and add 3 "free" tools to the kit. Not the case for $599.

A:  if you go in store there is a wide variety. I am having an issue on being able to select any tools

A:  The ad is not deceiving. There is a separate picture that shows the free tools available to choose from.

A:  Should be able to choose the free tools. Called customer service. Said they didn't know why the website wasn't set up right for the promo. Said they'd "open a ticket". I see nothing's been fixed. Not everyone lives near a Home Depot.

A:  @Paul That cant be true. The two tool kit with the hammer drill and impact for $399 included with this add says comes with two free tools. No way the two free tools are included in that $399 price. You should be able to choose two off that sheet.

A:  In store purchase is the best way to get the 3 free tools. If you purchase online your going to have to jump through the hoops of taking your receipt and proof of the 3 free tool offer to the store and convince the salesman to hand over 3 gifts. See photo

A:  You get the 3 tools in the pic. That is the base package. Then you choose 3 additional tools of your choice from the available options. So once all is said and done, it becomes a 6 tool kit. I believe it is in-store only.

A:  I was just at the store. The free tools are shown on a large poster and include such bare tools as a 7 1/4 circ saw, multitool, etc. They have 3 deals - this large kit with 3 free tools, a smaller kit with 2 free tools, and a 2-batt/charger kit with 1.

A:  Yes, if the grinder is used with a diamond-cutting blade.

A:  Yes. Just push the lever, twist the guard and it can be removed. The blade has to be off, of course.

A:  I think all 20 volt DeWalt batteries will work.

A:  It works with the 20V batteries. I don’t have any Flex batteries. The power is stronger with the Flex batteries.

A:  You can use the 60v flexvolt battery on any normal DeWalt 20v tool, and you gain quite a bit of runtime. Then there is a line of tools that run strictly on the flexvolt 60v batteries and are much more heavy duty tools. This model is part of the line of tools that can run on either battery but when you use a 60v battery, it actually gains power, not just increased runtime.

A:  Hey Pepper91, as far as I know it's only compatible with flex batteries! It seems to be a whole new line of tools! It's great not having to mess with cords anymore!

A:  All 20 amp batteries

A:  yes. but you can also control the speed with the trigger

A:  I no longer trust the Q&A in most web sites including Home Depots. This is a good example of why I don't trust them. There is no "dial" and when you press the trigger (no matter how lightly), the blade spins to full speed in a split second. There is simply no "variable" speed.

A:  Yes it has a speed dial

A:  there's no dust collection port. but no jigsaw has an effective dust collection. the jigsaw blows dust forward and out of the way. that works much better

A:  I don't believe there is a vacuum attachment on this model.

A:  No battery's you need to purchase separate

A:  Some of the kits come with batteries and chargers. Others are "tool only" and do not include the charger and battery. READ what it says and you will know>

A:  I bought one that had made in mexico listed on the package

A:  It was made in China.
