The paper collated hold about 10 more nails per strip though. Does not have plastic debris after each nail used.

A: When you say paper vs plastic this only relates to what holds nails together as a clip. Paper will tear easier and do not have long storage length of time before becoming fragile. But as a framer we use either. Plastic had issues with leaving plastic chips with nails which is and was a problem when doing fascia or finish trim work.
