Q:Using a Ridgid sander, what grid would I use on drywall to clean up old paint or just smooth out wall before painting

A: Definitely the 120 grit! I have done whole houses where we needed to knock-down the old paint. Even the 120 will ‘load up’ pretty fast……definitely wouldn’t go 220.

A: 120 grit. Latex paint will gum up on the pad so you'll have to scrap off the paint if it gets too chunky.

A: Hello, Hook and Lock is the backing that connects the sandpaper to the sander. It is very similar to Velcro.

A: It's hook and loop lock. Meaning the Velcro backing can be removed, readjusted and reused several times on your sander
