A:  Three screws are not sufficient. Best practice is to use at least four screws per shutter: one screw near each end of each horizontal batten. I strongly advise you to buy your own screws, in 305-grade stainless steel. These shutters come with black-painted steel screws, which will degrade and react with the cedar's tannic acid to produce tannin stains over time. With cedar, the only guarantee against tannin-bleed and corrosion is to use stainless steel fasteners.

A:  The hardware that comes with the shutters is screws and sleeve anchors and not attached to the shutter at all when it arrives. The supplied hardware is to drill through the front of the shutter into your house. If you already have anchors you would not need the supplied anchors. A:  Our three sets of shutters were delivered within one week (in perfect condition) from the date we ordered them. The workmanship is outstanding, and they took stain beautifully.
