A:  The hardware for the Infinity-Z shower door that comes with this package will be oil-rubbed bronze finish. The base and the walls will be white and the glass will be clear. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  Yes, this kit will include the Infinity-Z sliding shower door (single sliding door w/ an inline stationary panel) along with a SlimLine shower base and QWALL glue-up acrylic backwall kit. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  All DreamLine shower doors require solid finished walls, walls that are at least as tall as the shower door unit, and true 90-degree angles in the bottom corners of the shower opening. In other words, DreamLine shower doors are not designed or intended for installation into molded acrylic-fiberglass shower surrounds. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  We apologize for any confusion. The description of "3-piece" refers to the kit itself having 3 main components - the shower door, the shower base, and the shower walls. The walls are actually going to be 4 glue-up acrylic panels (left, right, and 2 back panels). Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  You just want a thick enough mortar bed to fully support the standing area of the shower base. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  Unfortunately, no - DreamLine does not offer any direct-to-stud wall systems and our shower door products are actually not compatible with those types of systems. A:  Unfortunately, no - we do not offer any customization for our SlimLine shower bases and this would included customization of the drain location. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  This kit will include a SlimLine acrylic shower base, the QWALL glue-up acrylic wall kit (left, right, & back wall panels will be provided), and the Infinity-Z shower door. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  Yes, you will need to install backer board before installing the acrylic Q-Walls. The shower base will install in a bed of mortar directly up against studs, then you will hang 1/2" thick backer board up around the shower base. Once the base and backer board are installed, you will trim the acrylic walls per the instructions in the manual, then glue them to the backer board using an acrylic-safe construction grade adhesive.
