Q:We are installing this in a Shome (Shop with attached dwelling) which has concrete floors. Can we install a frame on the concrete and attach the base to that? The walls of the dwelling unit will be framed

        Q:Can this unit be placed directly on subfloor( 5/8 plywood) without mortar, or will this xause issues ?

        A:  Our bases are required to be installed directly to the sub-floor and over a bedding of mortar. Installing our base without a bedding of mortar would void the warranty and cause installation issues.           A:  I do not see why not, just be sure no leaks of course. And be sure the the base installed directly to the studs not to the drywall.

                Q:How to transport? I'm wondering how I'm going to get this home from the store. I have a pickup but it has a topper. Can the unit be placed on its side for transport or does it need stay upright? And can you tell me the dimensions of the product including its packaging? Thanks.

                A:  The Prime shower enclosure comes in one box that is appx. 76" by 30" by 15". Most people have no issue transporting it flat in a pickup truck.                   A:  The base is designed to be installed to the studs. Installing to drywall can result in leaking and may alter the fit of the enclosure on the shower base. It is not recommended to install to drywall. Please speak with a contractor regarding installation of shower bases.
