A:  QWALL acrylic backwall products are designed to be a more cost-effective alternative to tile and these products must be installed to a solid backer board just like tile. As long as your contractor provides the proper added wooden support in your framing for a grab bar prior to installing the backer board and QWALL backwalls, then yes - you can install a grab bar on the QWALL acrylic backwalls. A:  The walls are designed to be glued to the backboard. Using screws can result in cracking. The base is designed to be installed on a bed of mortar. Screws should not be used with the base, either.
