A:  The dimensions provided for our shower bases are the rough-in dimensions required. For the 32" x 32" single threshold shower base, you will need to frame out an area that is 32" x 32". Please review the technical drawings for all of the other important specifications such as the drain location. A:  We recommend using a high-quality mold & mildew resistant 100% silicone caulk to seal any joints when you are finished with the main parts of the installation. This would include any seams on the QWALL acrylic walls and anywhere the walls would meet the threshold of the base. A:  The acrylic walls that come with this kit must be glued to backer board and they can be treated like any other finished wall material such as tile. You can install a shower seat to these walls, but you must make sure that you have proper wooden support behind your backer board for a shower seat.
