Questions and Answers for DreamLine SlimLine 60 in. x 34 in. Single Threshold Shower Pan Base in White Right Hand Drain with Back Walls

A:  We apologize for any confusion. The term "backwalls" is an industry term used for a full wall kit. This package will include a full glue-to-backer acrylic wall set. There will be 4 total panels (1 left, 1 right, 2 back panels). The panels will be trimmed to fit your opening before they are fitted together and glued to backer board. A:  To pair a DreamLine neo-angle glass enclosure with a SlimLine neo-angle shower base, you will want to make sure that the glass enclosure dimensions are approximately 2" smaller than the dimensions of the shower base and this is so the glass will fit up onto the curbs of the base. So, for the 36" neo-angle base, you will want to select a 34" neo-angle enclosure. We make 3 neo-angle models - the Prism, Prism Plus, and Prism Lux. These models have some cosmetic differences and each has slightly different specifications and tolerances for out-of-plumb walls (NOTE: Prism Lux is the only model with zero adjustments/allowances for out-of-plumb walls). A:  The wall kit that comes with this package is only sold as a complete package with a shower base. The only acrylic backwall kits we offer for sale on their own are the models from our QWALL-VS series. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  Unfortunately, no - there is not any wiggle-room with the dimensions for this shower base. The rough-in framing must be 36x36" and if you have a space that is only 35-1/2" between studs, it will not fit. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  The acrylic backwalls that come with this kit must be glued to backer board. They basically will take the place of tiling your walls. You can install grab bars to this type of product, but you must make sure you have the appropriate wood supports (studs/blocking) for the installation of a grab bar. A:  The acrylic backwall kit that comes with this package will need to be glued to 1/2" thick moisture-resistant backer board. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  DreamLine offers many compatible shower door options to match this SlimLine shower base. The Flex shower door is a pivot shower door that is the most popular selection because it has a lot of adjustment to fit your finished opening measurements. We also offer more frameless options such as the Unidoor or Elegance models, but these are models that we would recommend ordering only after you have finished your walls and you can take measurements to order the proper size.
