A:  Hi Hannah - thanks for the inquiry. Yes - the DuraDecor rigid core click lock LVP can be installed on top of sheet vinyl. There are some installation guidelines to follow however. The sheet vinyl must not be of cushion back. And only on a single layer of sheet vinyl. The sheet vinyl must be in good condition. Also, please ensure the area has been cleaned and vacuumed prior to installing the new floor. There is no need to use an additional underlayment or plastic vapor barrier. Please be sure to read and review the installation instructions before starting your project. Thank You -

A:  Hello Sunbeam - thank you for your inquiry. You can install rigid core floating LVP over the top of existing tile. (We assume you are referring to ceramic tile.) There are a few steps to take prior to doing so: tile floor must be level within tolerance, existing grout joints must be patched / filled if they are damaged / wide / deep, and must be cleaned and free from debris. The installer assumes all responsibility of installing on the top of an existing floor. We recommend ensuring all required steps prior to the installation are completed to avoid any issues.
