Answer This Question
A: Yes, this handrail is paintable. We recommend scuffing the surface and using a solvent paint over the powder coat surface.

Answer This Question
A: Yes and the whole system is superb. BTW you can shorten the hand rail with a metal cutting saw - but remove the end cap first.- and then smooth the cut off end inside and outside with a file to allow you to replace the end cap.

A: Hi Mark. Confirming an excellent and much-appreciated Community Answer, yes, the end caps, wood mounting fasteners, and brackets are included. If you are mounting onto a concrete wall please search for our masonry fastener pack (Tapcons), Model #EZAT225-W.
Thank you for a great question and thanks Community for the quick response.

Q:What screws are used to mount to metal posts

Answer This Question
A: Hi Rick. If you are attaching the handrail to our 3" x 3" EZ posts, then I recommend the 1/4" x 4" through bolts going through both post walls then a washer and nut. If you cut of the excess bolt the black caps will then hide both the head and nut. If you are going into a thick-wall metal (steel or aluminum) a #14 x 1.5" or 2" self-drilling fastener will work well. I always recommend piloting the hole.

Q:Can you get longer sections? 10 Ft. ?
Can you spice sections together ? two 6ft. sections to get 12ft. ?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Raye. As you've indicated the best (and only) way to install Copper Vein handrails greater than 8ft is to spice lengths together using the 5" splice, model# EZA650-M.

A: You need to cut it

A: I have the black metal one in 8 foot. Love it. Good quality but I don’t know if it comes in 4 foot. I bought a four footer in wood which works but not as impressive as the metal.

Answer This Question
A: I do not believe so. I installed 2 of these handrails outdoors and love them. That would be nice if the mfg. made a corner piece.
by|Jan 9, 2022
A: Hi Cober. Yes, we have two styles of corner pieces available, a 90 degree radius bend model# EZA585-HB and a 90 degree miter (sharp) corner, model# EZA500-HB.
Thank you for your question.

by|Jan 10, 2022
A: Not that I'm aware of. never looked as I didn't need one. Sorry not much help.
What you see is got to be the easiest hand rail to put up. I did us other mounting bolts, like to use longer ones.

Q:Could this be bent to follow a curved exterior stairway?
by|Nov 14, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi Mark. Unfortunately no, bending this handrail after powder coating will cause damage to the finish. The handrail needs to be curved prior to finishing using a forming machine or bender. Usually a local welding metal fabricator can assist. As as last resort, muffler shops may bend for you in some situations.
